Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, I am a Senior at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas. I am working towards a Bachelor of Arts double major in Mass Media (with an Electronic Media Emphasis) and Communication, and a minor in Leadership. As one of the anchors for the WUCT News live campus broadcast, I have gained valuable experience in the area of on-camera reporting and TV production. I was a four year starting defender for the Washburn Women's soccer team, as well as the president for the Student Athletic Advisory Committee and the assistant web editor of the Washburn Review. This past summer I interned at KETV Newswatch 7 in Omaha, NE. After graduation in May, my goal is to report at a station in a small to medium sized market.
